 mockingbird is about a girl with autism dealing with the death of her brother. It's about how she sees the world through an autistic perspective. She doesn't really understand what's going on. She expects her brother to still be there when he's not. Her father is crying and she doesn't know why. She doesn't show the emotions that other people are showing she's lost. She's a lot like me. I don't understand death either I expect them to come back. I don't really cry at all. While others are down I wonder why. Everyone is going to come back the're just on vacation. Her and I are both highly functional, would rather be alone though. We'll converse with you. Aspergers syndrome, it can last a while or it can last forver.
